Dr. Kristina Martin, Ed.D., is a seasoned Secondary Educational Diagnostician, Transition Coordinator, and District Lead Evaluator with 19 years of experience in education. She has held various roles, including Special Education Paraprofessional, Special Education Life Skills Teacher, and Special Education Inclusion and Resource Teacher. Dr. Martin earned her B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies and her M.Ed. in Special Education from Midwestern State University, followed by an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership and Conflict Resolution from Abilene Christian University. In her current roles at Graham ISD, Dr. Martin leads the development and implementation of special education policies, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines while advocating for equitable learning opportunities for diverse student populations. She coordinates with families and service agencies to facilitate successful transitions for students after school and guides evaluation staff in conducting assessments that meet legal standards and support educational planning. Additionally, Dr. Martin is passionate about coaching school staff on best practices for differentiated instruction and fostering a collaborative environment for growth. Her commitment to empowering students to become strong self-advocates reflects her dedication to enhancing educational outcomes for all learners.
