Speech Language Pathology Assistant

Kelly Brockway is a dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistant with 17 years of experience in education. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Hardin-Simmons University. In her role as an SLP-A, Kelly works under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to implement effective speech and language therapy programs aimed at enhancing communication skills and supporting students' educational achievements. Kelly assists SLPs in conducting screenings and supports in identifying students' speech and language needs. She is skilled in delivering individual and group therapy sessions as outlined in students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and diligently monitors and documents student progress, collecting data on treatment outcomes and maintaining records. Additionally, Kelly collaborates closely with teachers to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities, providing materials and strategies to support students' communication needs. Her commitment to fostering student success through effective communication makes her a vital member of the educational team.
